(Los Angeles, CA, July 1, 2017) – Ashley Mosher of Valid & Required Productions has won the prestigious Award of Excellence and the Women in Film Award of Excellence from the IndieFEST Film Awards. The award was given for Mosher’s short film, Back to CAMPBack to CAMP features exceptional cinematography of one of the long standing summer camps still in operation in the rolling hills of New Hampshire. Mosher gently weaves her autobiographical story of returning to her blissful camp at 40 years old during a mid-life crisis seeking refuge from her failed marriage. Instead of having a relaxing Summer getaway, Ashley finds herself going down memory lane, a road that led her to the crisis in the first place.

“I am deeply grateful and utterly pleased to have been selected as an artist worthy of the Women in Film Award of Excellence by IndieFEST and that Back to CAMP was recognized as a film worthy of the Award of Excellence by the team there. Back to CAMP was my second short film and having received an Award of Merit for my first, Love Biscuit, in 2015, my goal with Back to CAMP was to improve my craft and storytelling enough to win the higher honor of Award of Excellence.” –Ashley Mosher, Writer/Director/Cinematographer/Editor.
