The Cost of Riches: A Feature Narrative

The well-known big city therapist/columnist, Dr. Olivia Mulraney, has spent her adult life listening to stories of her client’s abuse, trauma, and addiction while ignoring her own shadows lurking in the corners of her life. On a whim, she plans a solo trip to Costa Rica for some R & R and to reclaim her sense of hope in humanity, but when two penniless thieves choose the tourist as their next victim, what was meant to be a much needed vacation, turns into a fight for justice...and ultimately, a reclamation of her own dark side.
